TRI’s Specialist Certification program is a one day course that is designed to provide a broader, more detailed knowledge of tile including tile markets, tile’s design features and benefits, materials specifications, code regulations, estimating, ordering and improved management of roof tile jobs.
The TRI Certified Specialist designation is targeted to contractor/owners, team leaders, estimators, inspectors, consultants, designers and any building professional interested in expanding into the rapidly growing tile market.
The one day program ends with a short, open book test. Once passed, certified specialists receive their announcement letter, certificate, stickers for proposals, hard hat stickers, and special listing in the Find a Contractor database on the TRI web site. In addition, companies can show the logo on their materials stating that they have “TRI Certified Specialists” on staff.
